Based in the heart of Ottawa/Gatineau, our company is a dynamic performance collective dedicated to bridging the gap between raw grassroots storytelling and professional artistry. Led by a seasoned artistic director, we bring together a powerful ensemble of dedicated community volunteers and select professional artists to create high-caliber, multidisciplinary theatre with a deep social conscience.
Our mission is centered on the Unedited Woman Program, using the stage to amplify the authentic, unfiltered voices of local women. Whether we are staging our 4th Annual Curated Performance Series—a "choreopoem" of poetry, dance, and music—or a classic production like The Crucible, our work explores themes of justice, resilience, and the female experience.
As a community-driven organization, we operate on a unique collaborative model: our performers are passionate local volunteers, supported by professionals occasionally receiving honourariums for their mentorship and expertise. This ensures our productions remain grounded in the community while maintaining an exceptional artistic standard.
Every production is more than just a show; it is a vital fundraiser. By attending, you are directly investing in the Unedited Woman Program, providing the resources and safe spaces necessary to strengthen the sisterhood across the National Capital Region. Join us for an evening where art meets activism, and where the "unedited" truth of the women next door takes centre stage to ignite change in the city we call home.
