A Sanctuary for Creativity
At the Gladstone, we believe that independent theatre is essential to Ottawa’s cultural landscape. Our mission is to provide a dynamic, affordable venue where diverse theatre companies can bring their unique visions to life. The Gladstone is a sanctuary for creativity, offering the tools and space necessary for artistic expression and audience connection. Since 2008, the Gladstone has been a home for more than 15 companies who, between them, have staged more than 400 independent productions.
As a registered charity, the Gladstone relies on the generosity of donors to continue its important and necessary work. Every contribution allows us to support more artists and make independent theatre accessible for both industry professionals and audiences.

You can find more information about donor incentives below. Gifts of $25 or more are eligible for a charitable tax receipt. Donations can be made online in any amount as a standalone transaction or as an add-on to your ticket purchases.
