The Ottawa Muslim Youth Club (OMYC) proudly presents an engaging and dynamic seminar designed to inspire and empower youth and the wider community. Join us on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, from 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM at the Gladstone Theatre (910 Gladstone Ave, Ottawa, ON) for an afternoon of meaningful conversation, reflection, and laughter.
This seminar brings together three powerful voices: Hamoodi (TheFob4), a rising Canadian comedian whose hilarious takes on immigrant life and cultural clashes have earned him a loyal following across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube; Sheikh Nuru Mohammad, an esteemed scholar, author, and community leader offering timeless Prophetic wisdom; and Desmond Cole, award-winning author, writer, and activist tackling issues of racism, equity, and social justice in Canada.
Through a mix of comedy, scholarship, and activism, the program will address themes of identity, racism, belonging, and leadership while equipping youth with the confidence to lead with light in their daily lives.

His relatable humor and clever storytelling have resonated with audiences nationwide, earning him sold-out shows in major cities across the country. Whether it’s family quirks, generational differences, or the blending of cultural identities, Hamoodi finds the funny in experiences that many can relate to, making every show both personal and universal. Beyond the stage, his massive following on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube has built him a loyal fan base that loves his ability to blend cultural commentary with modern pop culture.
