David Whiteley has been working professionally in theatre since completing an MA in directing in 1998. A trained actor, director, and playwright, David taught himself to produce through a decade of creations at the Ottawa Fringe Festival. In 2011, he enlisted others indie companies to join his newly-minted Plosive Productions to share the Gladstone for annual multi-company seasons. Since then, Plosive has gone on to produce 39 productions here, with David taking part in many additional Gladstone shows with other companies.
