Hamlet

Upon learning from his dead father’s ghost that his uncle has murdered his father, Hamlet is set on a tortuous path of moral self-questioning, paranoia, and madness. But is he truly mad or merely acting mad? “The play’s the thing, wherein I’ll catch the conscience of the king,” Hamlet tells us. And so he sets a trap, a “mouse trap,” in the form of a play put on by a group of travelling actors which will reveal the guilt of his uncle. But Hamlet is not the only one who is acting.
