“Sometimes, a revolution needs a woman’s touch.” – Marie Antoinette

In this sassy, hold-on-to-your-seats theatrical adventure, four beautiful, badass women hang out, murder Marat, and try to beat back the extremist insanity of 1793 Paris. This grand and dream-tweaked comedy is about violence and legacy, art and activism, feminism and terrorism, compatriots and chosen sisters, and how we actually go about changing the world. It is a true story. Or total fiction. Or a raucous resurrection… The Revolutionists is a call to action for all – grab your red sash and go!

Lauren Gunderson is one of the top 20 most-produced playwrights in the United States, and in 2016 was America’s most produced living playwright. Gunderson was awarded the Lanford Wilson Award by the Dramatists Guild Council in 2016.

Intended for audiences over 14 or adult accompanied.
