We are delighted that a new roof will be installed at the theatre between April 4 and April 16. However this means Bear & Co. has had to move the run of Shakespeare’s Will by Vern Thiessen one week later than previously scheduled. The show will now run April 20 to May 7. Apologies and gratitude to ticket holders who have moved their seats to accommodate this change. And our thanks to the artists of Bear & Co. who will make the show go on, despite the shifting conditions!

He’s a kid, a dreamer, a writer!

She’s older, headstrong, brave enough for two.

Now he’s dead, and you get to learn the truth . . . the story of marriage to Wm. Shakespeare,

as told by Anne Hathaway (in today’s English, by Canadian playwright Vern Thiessen).

“Well known in Ottawa as a director, I’d like to see more of Crowder as an actor as well.”–Brian Carroll, Apt613 Theatre Review “King Lear at The Gladstone”

Run time: Approx 70 mins. No intermission

Tickets*

$25 I can use a break — thank you!

$45 That’s what a ticket usually costs, right?

$80  I want to feed the starving artists!

$106 I’m grateful that I have cash to spare

Buy at the low end if that’s what your budget can bear.  If you want to offer a gesture of support for the artists whose working lives have been sidelined during the pandemic, consider buying at the more generous, higher end.

*Wednesday matinees only will offer $5 and $15 ticket options
Stream the recorded video for $13 per viewer (see 2nd ticketing option below).

Prices shown are final price including taxes and fees

Video recording option!

We are offering the option of streaming a video recording of the show for those who would prefer to see it from their own living rooms. You may buy tickets until May 11 for $13 per viewer. The date you choose is somewhat irrelevant — it just means that’s the date you will receive the link by email. The link will be accessible until May 11. For questions, email or call the box office at 613-233-4523.
