Eve, a guest at a dinner party, asks to tell a ghost story shes been crafting. Following some initial hesitation, they relent and Eve begins to recount her story. Hers is a tale based on a story she heard as a child – a tale which suddenly makes everyone markedly uneasy, in particular Robert the host.
The phone rings.
Phone in hand, Robert turns to Eve… who, with a grin, is about to get to the best part of her story.
Originally produced at the Ottawa’s Avalon Studio in November of 2016, Burn will see its west coast debut at the TsawwassenTheatre, where it will kick off the 2018/19 Season.
