Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Emperor’s New Clothes, J.P. Chartier’s smash musical Just Say the Word has already been making waves by putting a new, contemporary spin on a classic tale.
With 16 original songs ranging from classic big-Broadway, to techno-swing, to hip-hop, Just Say the Word has audiences tapping toes, clapping hands, and smiling ear-to-ear throughout this 18- person cast performance.
Just Say the Word brings to life a story you know and love but puts a contemporary twist by focusing on the powerful princess instead of the pretentious King.

Meet Your Producer!
The Artbeat Theatre Group (ATG) was established in 2002 to create a vehicle for J.P. Chartier’s very first musical “Without a Prayer”. Since then, ATG has produced four original musicals, a dozen plays, and serves as a springboard for local artists who create but need a way to get their art on stage.
