Ellen-Clare brought her company, Phoenix Players, to the Gladstone in 2012. She recognized the potential and committed to helping make the Gladstone a sustainable home for independent theatre. She served six years as secretary on the Board and now serves on the Gladstone’s Advisory Committee. For fun, Ellen-Clare cycles, skis, and runs a Duplicate-Bridge Club in the apartment complex where she lives with her husband. Ellen-Clare, regrettably, has become addicted to the NYT Spelling Bee and spends an inordinate amount of time striving to become a Queen Bee every day. Hopefully it is just a stage and she will return to more productive occupations soon.
